Thanks Rachel Ann, truly inspiring. I'm glad munu has it's own prayer corner.

My prayers are simple these days:

I pray for victims of terrorism, their families and loved ones, that they be given deliverance from hatred, anger and intense grief and brought to a place of caring, peace and rememberance.

I pray for those people around the world who live in fear, through starvation, sickness and poverty, espeially those in a place of war, may they know the richness of peace and freedom, the fullness of God's blessing and times of joy and love.

I pray for Jewish people everywhere, that they may have peace in their lives and be able to live without persecution.

For our Coalition Forces in Iraq and the new Iraqi goverment, that God's grace guide their actions and foil their enemies.

And for all of us bloggers, that God's loving grace may be upon us as we write, so that we may use this medium to bring about all for which I've prayed for including enlightenment of readers of this medium and bring healing to many hearts.

So be it...

This Young American Hero is one who needs all the prayers he can get. After being just 10 feet from a Mortar impact in Iraq he has been left terribly disabled. His injuries were so great that he had to have his right hand and both legs amputated just above the knee.

Keep this brave young American in your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Rachel Ann,

Please add my wife's niece, Chana Tova Chaiya Bat Pesiah to your prayer list. This young woman, married with one small child, was mortally wounded in the S'Barro Restaurant attack three years ago. Chana Tova Chaiya survived her initial injuries but has never regain conciousness. She is hospitalized without life support at the Reuth Hospital in Tel Aviv and we are all praying for miracles.

Her uncle Yoel

URGENT PRAYER REQUIRED – I have married in July 2000. But till today I have not got love from my husband. I was not aware of his loose character before my marriage. A trust on his sister (my best friend) has ruined my life saying that his brother is a very good person. Leon John Dante who due to his addiction of alcohol, lots of women in his life, smoking, robbing, telling lies as much as he can, etc.he has broken my heart and given lots of wounds to my heart and left me and gone since a year back and I do not know his whereabouts. He does not believe in God and tell lies and is not ashamed or scared for the wrong doings to me and my family. Lord Jesus transform his heart, soul, mind and life. Show him your lighted way, may he change his life and put himself unto you and repent for the hurts given to me and my family. May holy spirit come on him, please Lord Jesus show him and other brothers in this world who are like my husband the way of righteousness AND that he may return home completely transformed and take the marriage life seriously. God fill his heart with lots of love, affection, understating and caring. Forgive his sins and have mercy on him. Kindly pray for my family’s good health and prosperity. AMEN

This is my first time stopping by your blog.
Thank you for the opportunity to offer prayers and list prayer requests.
I will add my husband's cousin Tom - currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Posted by: Nancy at February 27, 2005 03:57 AM

Please add a prayer for a dear friend's brother, Ira. (I consider him a friend, too, of course. But, we only see each other a few times a year.)

He's had many health issues for many years. Mainly weight, liver and kidney problems. He just landed in the hospital recently with more dire liver issues. He can't get on a waiting list for an organ donation until he's in overall better health because they don't like to "waste" good livers on risky patients.

He's home again and, hopefully, will improve soon.

Thank you, Rachel Ann, for this post. I've read all of the comments, but didn't realize I'd ever actually add one. :)

Posted by: Tuning Spork at April 21, 2005 06:51 PM

I pray for breakthrough for my Relationship gone sore and FAMILY RESTORATION. My children's mum and I have been separated for a while, but I never stopped hoping and praying. My kids live with their mum. We have a daughter who is almost 5 years and a son who is 6.5 years old. About 3 months ago, my ex- promised me, by these words: "I KNOW YOU WANT THE BEST FOR THE KIDS, SO GIVE ME TIME AND DON'T PUT PRESSURE". I didn't ask anything during the time. This presupposed she's willing to consider our family. Just 4 weekends ago when i took my children back after their visitation, she told me i couldn't come into the house because there was another man, who he said was his new boyfriend. Earlier, I could visit the house anytime and picked the kids whenever. I felt betrayed, deceived and very disappointed. Since then, she has become rude and hostile towards me, which has destroyed our relationship we enjoyed as friends. I cannot now call the house and or enjoy the free access to my kids. She seems to spite me and doesn't seem to understand the consequence of her action. My kids are hurting and have earlier asked me to come back home. My son has also become violent and earlier very withdrawn. Nothing substantive I know of happened before our untimely break-up, and till today, I cannot put a finger to what is going on. I feel helpless, and also don't know how to move on, since I believe family is sacred. I wish to touch the throne of heaven for a restoration; family reconciliation and a second chance to get it right. I also pray she has a change of heart and mind, and re-consider our family. Looks very difficult and impossible, but with God all things are possible. I sincerely desire a MIRACLE and only Jesus can offer it. Victory will be for the kids and glory to God. From Ben
