After all, she works for a couple of oil men who were sitting around the White House one day, trying to take over the world . . . er, I mean, trying to come up with something kind and altruistic to do for the benefit of everyone in the world, when they realized the benefits (to the world, of course) of a strong US presence in the Middle East's oil fields. Again, benefits to the world, and in no way benefits to the various corporations these oil men are attached to . . .
Posted by: Anne at June 29, 2005 01:40 AMI know. It didn't surprise me as much as left me feeling slapped in the face. I havne't really trusted Bush, hoped he was better than Kerry, but was trying to keep a positive attitude.
My eyes are open now. I hope others are waking up to him as well.
