Out of listening to old time radio stations on my 'puter while I clean. They are so over-the-top emotionally, that I often break out laughing! But I also have to admire the art that went into making these drams; the sound effects, the sylization of speech so Mr. Scott could be differentiated from Mr. Runner, even the clue-you-in music. How little they had to work with, and how much they produced, and how long lasting their entertainment value.
And they've helped keep me sane while Pesach cleaning!

Posted by: muse at April 19, 2005 04:58 PMI have been using 365live
You can find all sorts of radio programs available. It uses a variety of different media players; I generally choose realplayer to play my stations.
Cool! My grandparents used to have lp box sets of old radio shows. I'd love to listen to some of those again.
Posted by: Tuning Spork at April 21, 2005 06:54 PMWell now you can! Really, check out 365 live, and click on talk stations; they have old mysteries, westerns, scince fictions etc. Fun stuff! And if you can take the paid option you get more (we can't afford it) Probably you get better service as well!
My grandparents had these steroscopes thingees, with all these cool photos. I loved them! I could spend hours looking at the old pictures.
