Wish Me Luck

I have to tell both the people that I work for that I won't be working for them any longer. Even if I don't get this new job my knee is hurting too much to continue to abuse it via work. I feel guilty though; this is only 1 weeks warning and I had promised myself I would give at least two. I was hoping to give a full month. But my knee is killing me; it still hurts despite not overworking it through the weekend.

I really feel like such a heel for leaving them in the lurch like this.

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

I know. But I feel very guilty I am leaving them in a lurch. The woman I work for today gave me a free accupuncture treatment though! She is so very sweet.

Now you know why I feel so guilty leaving them.

do you walk long distances or rather too quickly? i asked 'cos i did too and it hurt my right knee. which used to give me alot of problem as well, especially so when walking up or down the stairs. i refused to go see the doctor as i have this irrational fear of jabs and hospitals. it troubled me on and off for a good 16 months, got worst towards the tail end. but miraclously (sp?) it disappeared.

i think what i did might had helped:
a. drank lots of milk
b. rubbed traditional ointment on the part that hurt most before i turned in
c. walked s-l-o-w-l-y
c. prayed

People who care about you will want you to put your health before anything else. If you are truly working for kind, caring people then they will understand. If they don't, they are not what you thought they were. If you could've given more notice you would have. Since you can't, you're doing the best you can. Don't beat yourself up over this. Your health is important. Just ask your family!!
