Another Wonderful Post

From a Scratched Pearl. Well, I have yet to read something of hers I didn't like, but read the entry for August 29th. It is very powerful.

I have finally done w hat I kept meaning to do; I've printed off her material and made my own personal book of her writings. And Dawn, please copywrite this stuff somewhere; please think of handing your writing into some publisher.

Till then, know that I've got one of your "books" at my house. Someday, when you have the books printed, and you are touring the world, I hope you land here. II'll be handing you a bunch of papers, well read by then, sealed into a plastic binder. I'll buy the book you wrote and ask you to please sign both.

I tried to follow the link, because I respect your opinion and thought if you recommended it so highly that it would be worth a look, but I found the physical presentation of her blog to be so annoying (such small text) that I couldn't get past it to read the post itself. I ought to be bummed, right?

Everything anyone writes on their blog is pretty much automatically protected (in the US, at least) under general Copyright law and the Digital Millennium (sp?) Act.

Enforcing that copyright, on the other hand, is a significant problem. See, for instance, here, here, and here for examples.

Dawn, I sent R.P. a copy of the blog post; I couldn't let someone who wanted to read it miss out! The print is tiny on your site...I have trouble reading it sometimes as well.

Thank you so much for reading. It really means alot to me. I gotta tell you though, not to waste your time printing the stuff off. But I'm humbled and honored that you do.

About the tiny print, and 'physical presentation', I just switched the look, I'm working a few things out.
